I've had a number of friends share this on Facebook, and in one of the post's discussions someone I don't know (I think he's a photographer though) brought up an interesting point. Could this open up a new issue of people making costumes of copyrighted material and entering them into contests where money is won? Or people who make commissions and make money from that? I don't think that will come about, but I did find it interesting that they're using real names of characters and stuff, especially Merida.
