Hello,

I'm a relatively new small press exhibitor and I'm interested in visiting next Comic Market in Japan in August. Unfortunately I don't know how can I register for it. Can someone help me?

I've never been (yet), so I don't know much about it. However, I would imagine that information about registering would be on their web site.

Here's the application process:

I do not believe they allow applicants that do not have a Japanese address (plus it's a "lottery" anyway). The more "standard" way to apply is to buy an application AT the previous Comiket (the Comiket committee has a big booth for that and a few other things). It's still just an application (ie. you're not assured a booth), but easier to acquire. They do have an "overseas" area, but I THINK that area is for display ONLY. (ie. no sales) I recommend:
a) GO to Comiket as an attendee before trying to sell there, you'll learn a lot and get a feel for how it is, and you can buy an application while there.
b) Talk to (or make) a friend in Japan and have them apply for you (or form a circle with them)

Comiket is free to attend if you don't have a booth, you just walk up to Tokyo Big Sight on the given day and walk in. Two notes though:
-Comiket begins each day around 10am and ends the day around 4pm. It is VERY different from western anime conventions and the doujinshi circle booths change EVERY day. (also, if you do not have a booth and you arrive BEFORE it opens, there will be a VERY long line)
-Comiket will be VERY crowded

The schedule information on Wikipedia is pretty useful. It's not comprehensive, but it covers the basics.
