Has anyone had success with Crunchy Roll donating some prizes in lieu for some promotion at an event? Also, what other companies would be good to contact now that the industry has consolidated a bit.

Please note that NIS America & Funimation have already been contacted. Dealers (as mentioned) will be contacted prior to the con of course as well.

ANy help appreciated.

Hi Doug. This is also Doug

Your best bets for prize support is to build relationships, meet people from companies you want to deal with at other conventions and tell them what relationship you'd like to build. Dealers room booths are great places to meet reps. Be sure to give (and hopefully get) a lot of business cards.

Another thing that helps are numbers. Letting a potential sponsor know your attendance will help then get an idea of how many people they are reaching, even if you only have a rough idea from pre-reg counts.

Finally, there's always the option of talking to dealers at-con and seeing if they have anything to donate. Just be sure to note who gave what so you can send people back to their booth.
