Newton, MA - After months of development, AnimeCons.com is pleased to present the first episode of the AnimeCons.com podcast. Hosted by Sketch, the AnimeCons.com podcast will run monthly and feature news and information about Japanese animation conventions around the world. The podcast will also provide convention previews, reports, and advice on what to expect at and how to prepare for anime conventions.

In the premiere episode, the podcast reviews the past month's anime convention news and announcements as posted on AnimeCons.com. This is followed by a review of the list of the ten largest anime cons of 2008 as reported by the AnimeCons.com Webmaster and Senior Editor, Patrick Delahanty. For the first Q&A segment, Elizabeth O'Malley explains the factors that first-time convention attendees may want to consider when deciding which convention to attend first. The podcast also provides a schedule for the next two months of anime conventions around the world.

A podcast is a series of audio or video recordings made available for people to download to their computers, iPods, or other music or video-playing devices. Viewers have the option to subscribe to podcasts through applications such as iTunes and automatically download the next episode when it is available.

Not until there's enough discussion to justify a new section. I really don't want to create more empty sections.
