Well since its a formal cosplay ball its actually a fun thing to do because then u get to see cosplayers in formal attire but still as there cosplaying person. But u dont have to cosplay to get in i think if u dont cosplay u have to wear a suit. But there really fun and most cons teach u how to dance beforehand if u dont know how too.

i think that they're fun, and that not enough conventions actually successfully hold them. I am personally sick of "raves" where the DJ plays music that holds no relevance to the actual convention. Remember, we attend for ANIME and such. But with themed balls, you can attend in a formal costume, and there is the higher likelihood that the DJ will play themed music that makes sense in that setting. We need more!
